SARVIS GLASS
distinctive art glass by Carla Sarvis

Carla's kilnformed glass work speaks to her personal aesthetics of saturated colors combined with in-laid mosaic imagery. She creates bold abstract landscapes and fine line work with detailed pathways of cut glass; her artistic vocabulary is meaningful, complex and refined. All pieces are hand cut and one of a kind and many works have over 100 cuts of glass. She fashions free-standing art work, as well as elegant vessels for the home.

"My inspiration comes from a love of tiles, color, form and movement. Working with glass is a quiet time for me--a time of contemplation and thinking through ideas. It is very process oriented".
